About Bob Sharp: This message is not from the Fire Chief. It is comments from the website maintainer to fill the space (and tell you a bit about our fire chief). As of this update to the website, our fire chief has been totally snowed under with business and volunteer activites. Actions speak louder than words and our fire chief has been extremely active. He responds to almost every scene that our department is called out on, and if he isn't physically there he is on the radio. He takes care of all the paperwork involved with the actual firefighting responsibilities of a volunteer fire department, does most of the instruction at the monthly training classes, organizes required classwork needed to keep our volunteer firefighters current on thier skills, and is also an EMT himself. He is also a very fine mechanic and is intrumental in helping to keep all of our equipment up to date, not only physically, but the paperwork needed to keep track of repairs, keep up the insurance and keep fuel records. |
