The Pancake Breakfast portion of the event ends at 11:00 AM. The Bake Sale and Garage Sale portion end at 3:00 PM. The event will be held at Shaeffer Station.

TICKET PRICES:
Adults - 13 & up $ 6.00
Children - 6 to 12 $ 3.00
Children - 5 & under Free

Items needed for the breakfast from donated sources are:
Pancake Mix Preferably the kind that only needs water to mix with it. Will need enough to feed at least 300 people.
The Krustetz mix that comes in 5 pound bags at Sam's is what we've been using. Last year we used 4 bags of the mix and part of a fifth one.
Also last year, a very kind member donated blueberries and banana's to spice up the pancakes and they were a big hit. So fruit or nuts to use in them this year would not be turned down.
Orange Juice At least 8 gallons. (We had 6 gallons donated last year and ran out an hour before the event was over! Luckily, a good samaritan went out and brought back another gallon which got us through to 11:00 AM.)
Milk 8 gallons. That was what was donated last year, and it was just about right.
Syrup Whatever kind you want to donate, in whatever volume. Especially need sugar-free kind as a lot of our residents have to limit their sugar intake. There were a couple of gallons of unopened regular syrup left-over from last year, so this year the need is mainly for sugar-free, since we ran out of that kind.
Peanut Butter Creamy or crunchy, any brand or size jar. Lots of people like this on their pancakes.
Sausage Patties The Auxiliary buys these pre-formed in 10 pound boxes from a supplier in Tulsa. The price of the sausage has risen considerably over the past 5 years, so this year we are asking for funding donations to help with the cost. We will also sell any leftover boxes, although last year only 2 unopened boxes were left, plus about 20 patties from another box. 10 boxes were ordered, which means 7 and most of an 8th box were cooked up for the breakfast. The cost per box last year was $23, and both boxes were sold for that amount after the breakfast was over.
Condiments This item is butter, sugar and sugar substitutes, and coffee creamer. The products served at the event are in pre-packaged form now, bought in bulk from Sam's, but if you would like to help with this item, please keep in mind the pre-packaged requirement. (Or a nice $ donation is always an appreciated alternative!)

Bake Sale Any kind of baked goodies will be welcome. And it's not just about cakes, cookies or pies either. Home-made candy items or treats (like the caramel apples last year) or simple items like rice crispy treats go really well. Specialty bread items like jalapeno cornbread, home-made cinnamon rolls, or even just a nice loaf of fresh home-made bread sell well also.

Garage Sale Due to community input and consideration of funding needs for various purposes, the fire department has decided to reinstate the Garage Sale portion of this fundraiser.
However, there are some limitations on the type of items that will be accepted. Electronic and mechanical items should be in working condition (also include any manuals or instructions for the item, if you have them). Items should be clean (i.e. - no bugs, vermin or excessive caked on debris). Hazardous chemicals should be in original packaging, properly sealed and labeled (i.e. - paint, chlorine for pools, pesiticides, cleaning fluids, etc.). NO CLOTHING!
Set-up will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 7, which means there will be someone at the station to receive your donations. If you need help with heavy items, call 243-5529.
