Bar-B-Que Dinner Dance 2008: The BBQ Dinner Dance will be held on September 13, two weeks after the Muscular Dystrophy "Fill the Boot" campaign, which our firefighters always participate in. The dance will be held at the Shaeffer Station from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. Tickets for the dance can be purchased at the advance price through September 10. Auxiliary officers will have them available at all auxiliary meetings beginning in March (check the Meeting Dates link for that schedule) and at all fundraiser events preceeding the dance. The Fire Chief will also have them available at his place of business after the March auxiliary meeting. Call 243-5529 for more information about this event. Donations to cover the cost of the meats would be greatly appreciated. Donations are requested for the following food items: Potato Salad Lots and lots of potato salad, all kinds and varieties. Cole Slaw Lots and lots of cole slaw, all kinds and varieties. Baked Beans Need lots of these too. Mild, medium, spicy - any flavor is good. Vegetables Onions - white, yellow, green or vidalia; pickles - dill, sweet, bread & butter, kosher, crunchy, spears, whole or sliced; peppers - all kinds, but especially jalapeno; salads - garden, leafy, jello, molded, tossed; Relish trays - any size or kind would be most welcome. Desserts Cakes, cookies, cupcakes, puddings, pies, brownies, fudge, cobblers, pastries of all types and kinds. Remember, there can never be too many deserts!
